 :\'( :\'( :\'( So so beautiful.
The most difficult scene was the paragraph where, on the mountain, Ennis holds Jack and rocks back and forth, humming, the moment mixed with childhood loss and his refusal to admit he was holding a man.

- Annie Proulx -

From the vibration of the floorboard on which they both stood, Ennis could feel how hard Jack was shaking.

Oh I love what Ethan left. I feel like I should have jumped on the train and met them there but I can't.  It's too raw for me.

What does it say on the picture? I can read "We miss you Heath" but not what's underneath. I still wonder how many pages of love it was!

Many pictures they took with a good digital camera will be posted later with all the details. This one I posted was taken with a picture phone, sent to my cellphone.

It's because of you I'm like this now.
I feel like I'm nothing, I'm nowhere.
But in my heart I know it's also because of you that I've found this beautiful community, where I'll be understood, while in my RL, if I mention your name, the answer I'm most likely to get is: "Who is Heath Ledger?"
I'll be always grateful to you of the impact you have had in my life. There will always be a place in my heart with your name in it.
Why did you had to go so young, while the whole world was open for you? I guess it was meant to be that way. You were meant to be a legend.
I'm so sorry you didn't have a change to see your daughter growing up here an earth, but I know, because I've also lost my dad, that you will be watching over her up there in heaven.
Heath, forever young, rest in peace. I will miss you so much...

Johanna

I've just signed the SFGate Guestbook:

«Tennyson wrote once: "So many worlds, so much to do, / So little done, such things to be...". That's what I think about your departure, Heath. Too soon, too soon you left us, when you had so much to say and play for us. Too soon the sky asked for you, stealing us your smile and your sweetness. Only one little belief comforts all us here: that whatever it happened, wherever you are right now, you will always be a light somewhere in this world. And that light is named Matilda. Thank you, Heath, thank you deep from our hearts. There you will always live.»

I needed to say it there too. And here. And everywhere else I can say it. Only this way this mourning air maybe will disappear.
:(

REMEMBER ME ... by James Horner/Cynthia Weil

Remember:
I will still be here
As long as you hold me
In your memory

Remember:
When your dreams have ended
Time can be transcended
Just remember me

I am the one star
That keeps burning so brightly
It is the last light
To fade into the rising sun
I'm with you whenever
You tell my story
For I am all I've done

Remember:
I will still be here
As long as you hold me
In your memory
Remember me…

I am that one voice
In the cold wind that whispers
And if you listen
You'll hear me call across the sky

As long as I still can
Reach out and touch you
Then I will never die

Remember:
I'll never leave you
If you will only
Remember me…

Remember:
I will still be here
As long as you hold me
In your memory

Remember:
When your dreams have ended
Time can be transcended
I live forever

Remember me
Remember me
Remember…
Me…

We will be going to the apartment in Brooklyn first and then to SoHo. So probably around 3 pm. We will be taking all of you with us. Thank you for all your heartfelt messages.

If you can, please join us to light a candle.

Thank you both so much. It really does mean a lot to me, more than I can put into words :ghug:

Sometimes, just the little things can hurt.  Just found out,  the name of Heath's character in the "Imaginarium..." was.....Tony.
He played so many roles, with so many names, and that had to be the last one.  Might not bother someone else, but it does leave me with
that slight, additional sadness, to the much larger grief.

When something potentially more than coincadental hits the conscience of someone with a heart it's not always easy to dissipate the fog that clouds the same mind, and it helps when someone outside of the equation knows that it's not your responsibility nor burden to carry around. It's someone like me, also with a similar heart, yet not named Tony, that should tell you that you need to let it go. Extract the beautiful reminder of what a beautiful man Heath was and was aimed to always be, and let the rest go. If it rushes over you like rain, then it happened right. If you damn near cry your eyes out, it happened the way it was supposed to.
What we have is knowing a man with the power to grip others' hearts is undeniably in a better place. Yes it takes time for that to sink in, but then we are not robots. Accepting passages doesn't always happen with a 'pink' or click. But we will get it because not only does everything happen for a reason, but when love is involved it will eventually set in to have done no wrong. We who love(d) Heath, we with our flowers, tears, notes and hearts, made sure that his transition was soft, about as soft as the wings of an angel; We remember him like this for he gave to us a sense that the earth wasn't as wicked as it otherwise seems to be.
Tony, we're all in this together, trust that.  :ghug:
God bless Heath and the part of his heart that he left us with.
