thinking about Four Feathers somehow, and recalled the last scene when Jack touched Harry, just as he did in the desert.

If it's cold outside,
Show the world the warmth of your smile.

That's Heath. That's what I try to emulate, each and everyday.

It is what gets me through the day.

Remember very well both scenes...they're so touching!  :\'(
Very beautiful words from you, Andrew.  <^(

I think that's the image you talking about...

Actually, no. I will try to find the ones I meant. They are the ones from Brokeback Mountain, in the summer of '63, the ones from A Knight's Tale, and from Four Feathers. I don't have the other movies yet. Lords of Dogtown doesn't really count, but even there, Heath's performance gave something more than the character deserved.
Heath, you are loved, like this, always.

Sometimes you hear a song and immediately think of Heath.
Today I was listening to the radio and heard the song "Everybody's Gotto Learn Sometime"
I already knew the song but it gave me goosebumps.

Change your heart
Look around you
Change your heart
It will astound you
I need your lovin'
Like the sunshine

Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Everybody's gotta learn sometime

Change your heart
Look around you
Change your heart
Will astound you
I need your lovin'
Like the sunshine

Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Everybody's gotta learn sometime

I need your lovin'
Like the sunshine

Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Everybody's gotta learn sometime
Everybody's gotta learn sometime

That happens to me all the time Anaconda.
Like this one...

"Never Had A Dream Come True"

Everybody's got something they had to leave behind
One regret from yesterday that just seems to grow with time
There's no use looking back or wondering
How it could be now or might have been
Oh this I know but still I can't find ways to let you go

I've never had a dream come true
Till the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I've moved on
You'll always be my baby
I never found the words to say
You're the one I think about each day
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be with you

Somewhere in my memory
I've lost all sense of time
and tomorrow can never be cos yesterday is all that fills my mind
There's no use looking back or wondering
How it should be now or might have been
Oh this I know but still I can't find ways to let you go

I've never had a dream come true
Till the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I've moved on
You'll always be my baby
I never found the words to say
You're the one I think about each day
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be

You'll always be the dream that fills my head
Yes you will, say you will, you know you will
Oh baby, you'll always be the one I know I'll never forget
There's no use looking back or wondering
Because love is a strange and funny thing
No matter how I try and try I just can't say goodbye
No no no no

I've never had a dream come true
Till the day that I found you
Even though I pretend that I've moved on
You'll always be my baby
I never found the words to say (words to say)
You're the one I think about each day
And I know no matter where life takes me to
A part of me will always be
A part of me will always be with you

I guess this one is a little bit more about Ennis and Jack
Nuke the EFF on!!

It is hard to imagine, only three months ago, not even 100 days,
that you were planning to work right here

It is hard to let go, of all that you have yet to do,
that only you could do with understanding and with passion

It is easy to think, that you have not yet gone,
but only resting, still hanging around

It is easy to pretend, all the movies I have not yet seen
are your latest creation

But no matter how hard I try,
nothing has changed.

You are still legend
You are still here
Heath, you are loved, like this, always.

Nice poems Anaconda, Emzan, Lancecowboy....some words to recall the best or the sad of our soul. A song, a poem, or a picture give us a warm souvenir, in our heart beating....
Thanks  :)
As the moon lingers a moment over the bitterroots, before its descent into the invisible, my mind is filled with song. I find I am humming softly, not to the music, but something else, some place else, a place remembered; a field of grass where no one seemed to have been except a deer, and the memory is strengthened by the feeling of you, dancing in my awkward arms.............

 :h) Hello Brokies,
this is Megalyn08  :). Here in Italy is already April 22, that means already three months since Heath's passing away.  :\'( I can't avoid thinking about it, although I still find it absurd. During these three months I joined this forum and read so many beautiful posts and tributes to Heath. I watched movies, read articles, watched videos (and made one) on You Tube. Everything in order to honor one of my favorite actors gone too, too soon. I felt I had to say "thanks" to him in some way for all the strong and deep emotions he and Jake made me feel through BBM's images and words. In another post I said that after having crossed Ennis and Jack's path I've never been the same again, and I confirm it. That's why I'll be forever grateful to Heath for playing Ennis Del Mar and to Jake for playing Jack Twist.  <^(  <^(
Often in these months I hoped I could wake up and discover that was just a nightmare and all was ok. But it wasn't and it isn't.  :\'( As Ennis said once, "if you can't fix it, you gotta stand it".  :\'(
I like very much Heath's special smile, I often say it, and this is the way I wanna remember him forever. My heart will always flipflop thinking or watching Ennis and Jack's tender and wonderful love-story, it will always continue getting warm inside before the second tent scene and the flashback during their last meeting, I will always miss him, but I wanna remember forever his smile. It's too special. This is another way for me to say "thanks" to him.  <^(  <^(
I wanna also say "thanks"  :t) to you all members of this beautiful BBM Family for all the things you share....songs, poems, pictures, thoughts. Everything so lovely!!  <^(  <^(  <^( I am so glad to have met you.  :cr)  ^f^  :)

Hey everybody ... long time (too long) since my last post.  So much life under the bridge ...

My last day of teaching is tomorrow (yeah, I'm a college professor!).  Such a long year.

I'm looking forward to the summer, a sip of whisky now and then, a toast to Heath (of course) with a glass of "Old Rose" courtesy of the creative folks in the arts and crafts room.

I've thought a lot about Ledger's passing.  I'm still very sad at his death, but, and I apologize for sounding selfish, but I really really wanted Ang Lee tand company to do a sequel.  My God, don't we all need it?  Isn't it burning in our desires?  Don't we all see our own vision of how Ennis would end up truly happy and not alone?  Doesn't he get to take Jack's ashes, somehow, back to the mountain?

... but of course that isn't possible now.

But what a gift we have!  We all get to write this story in our own lives, in our hearts, and in our imaginations.

Who knows who'd we all be if Ennis and Jack weren't ever introduced to us.  Gosh, aren't we lucky?

Thank you Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhall, Ang Lee, Gustavo Santaoalla ... I spelled that wrong and that's TERRIBLE! ... and all the cast of BbM ... for making our lives better.

Rest in Peace, Heath Ledger.  If your body never knew how much you were appreciated, I ... we ... heartfeltly hope that your spirit does!
Ennis Del Mar is my hero!

:^^)Thank you Lancecowboy (Andrew, I think?)

Yes, sometimes I need to make others laugh, and need very much to laugh myself, but end up feeling guilty, I had come up with quit a few "Pawning" jokes that day, but got sidetracked it Heath's "oh baby" pics, and once that hits me, I have trouble recovering and continuing on with humor. Every time I think I'm ok with everything, I realize it's just because I'm not thinking about it as really real, then it becomes real, too real, and it is very much not ok. Tomorrow will be the first time the weeks and months anniversary will fall on the same day, being both Tuesday and the 22nd, maybe that shouldn't feel different, but it does somehow. I look forward to, yet also truly fear, the day when this all feels ok; not that it will ever be ok, but just accepted as fact. Today is not that day. Until then, I send love to all you Brokies out there; I carry all of your hearts, I carry them in my heart :^^)           Luv, Jess

Slowly I realise that he is gone,
Only some pics and movies will remain,
Reality has hurt our hearts,
Reality is merciless and it don't care,
Our sweet cowboy rest in peace,
We'll be forever bound by him,
Unforgettable Heath Ledger

Heath I miss you so much, my heart is breaking :\'( :\'(

When I woke up this morning Heath was the first thing I could think of and then in school it got worse, first we listened to a girl that had a mother with alcohol problems, it was very sad and it got me more depressed then I already was and after lunch we saw a movie about drunk driving, it was a very sad movie and I cried almost the whole time :-\\ so  its been a sad day for me...
Nuke the EFF on!!

Don' lose your heart dear Emzan  :^^).  I know alcohol problems are very hard, it's difficult to cope with :(.
It could be like this, always like this....
Sometimes I miss you so much, I can't understand it.

actually about ? (Gavin Ewart)

3 months and I miss you more each day....
3 months and my grief is hurting,
3 months and  it feels like yesterday.   :\'(
RIP, sweet angel.

Memory Lane
by Marian Jones

There is a place in every heart,
They call it Memory Lane,
Where thoughts of loved ones lost
Forever will remain.

God made this special place
When He first created man,
For He knew it would be needed,
As part of our life's plan.

He knew when loved ones left us,
We'd need some time to heal,
To come to terms with sorrow
And the loneliness we'd feel.

So when you lose a loved one
And your life is filled with pain,
The comfort of their presence
Will be found in Memory Lane.
