i can't find the thread now so i'm starting a new one...someone mentioned in one of their posts that when jack asked randall why woman powder their nose he was trying to get a feel for randall, if he was into guys or not. maybe i'm not bright but how exactly was that question supposed to show that ranall liked guys??? did i miss something...any comments
Yeah, I'd also say it's the "glance" at the able that gives it away. Randall must have a very good "gaydar"!
Perhaps Randell has already sense something when he and Jack exchanging few eyes contact at the ballroom. But personally, I don’t think is Jack take the move first.(btw, just realized the ak-47 talking wife is Anna Fais. She played that role so well )
At my latest viewing, this scene struck me in funny kind of way. I thought that Jack looked so handsome in his leather jacket and all. All I could think of was, wow, was Randall ever *lucky*. What are the odds of finding someone that attractive that happens to be gay, seated at your table at such an event! :^)
Hate to disagree with you Jimmpage, but I kinda think Jack's lucky too. I think Randall is hot!!
Can we get an "Amen" on that, brother?!
Keep him! [Randall] He does nothing for me!
I felt like that scene was just a filler for no reason at all, except when Randall told Jack about going up to the cabin with him. It wasn't as if he had a smile on his face, was being friendly, heck, he wasn't even looking at Jack. That to me signaled Randall's attraction to Jack and wanting to get alone with him. It seemed to be more than just friendly conversation, the body language was off too much. And then Jack, looking so sad, and not responding, I too think that is because he realize that could be him and Ennis up there. So much for thinking it was a scene that meant nothing. Because by the time the scene was over, I saw that it was so much more than just a filler scene!!Ann
When Jack asks "wanna dance" it seems he looked at Randall..too..or am I totally lost here and those flirting eyes at the table, you can't misunderstand them.. confusing and somehow fine/excellent scene.

I thought he was looking at Randall, too. When Jack asked to LaShawn to dance, I wondered why Randall didn't ask Lurreen. Seems like the appropriate thing to do, ya know?
"Gaydar" refers to someone being able to sense if someone is gay or not
