I nearly had a heart attack!! we have a terrible weather here, it's raining non-stop and we had a power cut earlier, I thought I was going to die! as you can see the power is back now but I'm terrified we're gonna lose it again so cross your fingers for me! if I suddenly disappear you'll know why...
The truth is... sometimes I miss you so much I can hardly stand it.

Good evening from Scotland :h)

Just watching the start of Sky One's coverage now...and they did a brief review of old Oscar ceremonies to kick off the show. One of the first folk they showed was Jake presenting an award...and then they showed a lovely close up of Heath and Michelle from 2006, and Ang accepting his award.
He will be eternally missed, but he will never be forgotten

Christopher Nolan, accepting the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe on Heath's behalf.

He was, as an actor and a professional and a human being, one of a kind

Charles Roven, accepting Heath's BAFTA.

This award tonight would have humbly validated Heath's quiet determination to be truly accepted by you all here — his peers within an industry he so loved.

Kim Ledger, accepting Heath's Oscar.

Yeah - I've got a day off tomorrow so I'm here for the whole thing. Or at least until the Best Supporting Actor award.

Sky One have just shown a clip from TDK...first of many, I guess.

It could be a long night, in the past they used to  give best supporting actress & actor quite early in the show but it's not a written rule.

Hey, does anyone care about any of the other awards tonight?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Kate Winslet winning Best Actress for The Reader and I'd like to see Slumdog Millionaire get Best Picture too.

I haven't seen any of the other movies yet apart from Benjamin Button, so I don't have any favorites in the other categories

Hi from Barcelona ¡ I can't stay so long because here the timetable is horrible to follow... :( But I only wanted to share my expectations with you and keep my fingers crossed for our boy ¡.Let's hope our love can do something for what it'll be his last and great award... %) Heath, %) all ¡.
Ennis’s eyes gone bright with shock, mouth opening then closing again. “Love?” Ennis said finally, voice strangling in his throat.

Jack smiled sad. “Yeah, Ennis. Love.” Leaned forward and kissed Ennis’s temple, whispered, “What’d you think it was, all this time?”

Are those in the US watching on the E! channel? "Our" red carpet person Fern Cotton is right next to Ryan Seacrest.

They just interviewed the kids from Slumdog...they were just too cute in their little tuxes :)
