Jack's last moments ... Something I noticed
« on: Mar 19, 2006, 10:20 PM »
O.k I know this is going to seem like abit of a strange post but, I'm curious.

****Warning of spoilers****

During the scene of Jack being beaten to death, the last shot of him is of him lying on the ground bleeding to death.  :\'(  :\'(  :\'(

Now call me crazy but, I would have sworn he didn't have a moustache and looked alot younger than he was supposed to be. I'm still looking for screencaps of that moment but I know I've seen some somewhere.

Anyway that's my two cents. Feel free to add your input.

I thought the same as you did, til I looked harder.  He has got a moustache, it's just covered in blood  :'(
"Come on Ennis, you just shot my plane out a the sky!-give me somethin a go on.  This ain't no little thing that's happenin here"---Jack Twist

Ennis, weather-eyed, looked west for the heated cumulus that might come up on such a day but the boneless blue was so deep, said Jack, that he might drown looking up.

His shaking hand grazed Ennis's hand, electrical current snapped between them.

Support bacteria, they are the only culture some people have!

If you press me to say why I loved him, I can say no more than because he was he, and I was I.

Box office wise, I'm not to sure. However I know that last week it was about 6th or 7th in the top ten movies. I'm not sure if it was by how much it had grossed or what. Shall get back to you on that.   8)

Sorry greenfrog. I thought I could go and check for you but I just can't bear to look at that scene.  I cry hysterically just thinking about it.  But, from the first time I saw it (when I wasn't expecting it) he did have a mustache and it was Jack.

Over the last few weeks, I've constantly thought about that scene. I was just curious to see if anybody knew.

Two weeks ago I read that Brokeback Mountain had  grossed over $AU6million and at that time it was number 3 at the box office.
NO idea how it has fared since the Oscars.  At the time it looked as though it had grossed more than most other films currently showing.
I wish I knew how to quit you
