I reall think it's going to get an Oscar, I mean what would be against it, movies like Good Night and Good luck or Munich
while very very good don't
pack the punch it does, and it has it all the Cinematography, the acting, the story.  I LOVE Good night and good luck
and if it weren't for Brokeback I would vote for it but there is just no comparison on a grader scale.  It's so impactful of a movie
that I can't see voters turning their backs on it.

No folks, I would be shocked if it doesn't win.  And Ang Lee for director. People klnow this movie is historic too so
I am sure Hollywood wants to be a part of that, not let an Indie film sort of get all the thunder.

Thanks for the positive thought, Toadily. That is what I am hoping for. I can't wait to jump up and down when the presenter announces..."the Oscar goes to Brokeback Mountain" and of course with a lot of joyful tears.

When are the Oscars?  I usually don't watch it, but for the possibility that BBM would make it, I would make an exception ;)
